PDG has performed general contracting services on large development projects for its own account for over 16 years. We have been in the business since 1992, when Brian Lessler, President and COO, and Hiroshi Morihara, CEO, began development and construction of Persimmon Country Club Community, nestled in the hills in southwest Gresham, Oregon. Construction of this club included not only the 18-hole championship golf course, but also clubhouse with restaurant lounge, banquet facility, golf course maintenance center, driving range and a swim/tennis center.

In 2003 PDG started aggressively diversifying its construction projects, and has since added high quality multifamily housing, R & D laboratory construction and senior living facilities to its long list of diverse construction experience.

Over the years PDG and related Persimmon companies have won awards from numerous organizations, including the Home Builder’s Association, City of Gresham, Oregon, the Audubon Society, the Building Industry Association of Clark County, Washington and the Oregon Landscape Contractors Association.
